Summer is already in full swing here in Nashville with daily high temps reaching into the upper 80's to low 90's. Today I want to share one of my favorite summer outdoor toys with you!
My sister sent a fantastic gift for Sophia and Lily's (my twinkies) birthday - The Step2 Naturally Playful Sand & Water Table
. This is the BEST water/sand table out there! It's incredibly practical with the large umbrella to shade the kids from the sun's strong rays, the lid that stays on securely with elastic tie-downs and the plug to easily drain the water. The table looks great too! I'm a big fan of the neutral colors of this table, rather than the usual bright and loud kid's colors. There are two sides to the table, so you can choose to fill one with sand and one with water, or both with sand, or both with water like we've done so far this year. The double water is a little less messy, plus it must feel good in these hot temps!
Amazon lists the ages for this table as 24 months to 8 years, but my girls are having a blast playing with it and are clearly tall enough for it at only 13 months old (and they're both on the short side) so I would recommend it for ages 12 months and up!
My cool little dude filling up the table with water from the garden hose.
My kids LOVE this table and could seriously play at it all day!
We let the kids outside at Sophia and Lily's Pink Lemonade Birthday Party and they all had a blast playing at the water table - it was a huge hit!!!
Kids of ALL ages will have fun playing with this and I know this if going to be one of my kiddos' favorites for years to come! You can find it on Amazon
for a great price and with free shipping! What are some of your kid's favorite summer toys or activities?

hi kathy! thanks for your nice comment on my son's room. we got the mobile from amazon.com- it is one that they can paint and put together themselves. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Cassie! Thank so much for the comment back! I will check out Amazon - I love that it's one you can paint yourself since it's then a fun project AND decor!
ReplyDeleteI'm dying to bring Silas over to play with that water table soon! I love the pictures of Jackson filling it up with water. There is something about boys and water hoses, lol. It looks like he was taking the job very seriously! :)
