Searching for an inspiration - impact of colour

When it comes to the inspiration it can be anything that surrounds you. And everything that surrounds you does have a colour and your eyes and mind will see how they work together, how they influence the feeling you're experiencing by looking at it. You don't need to know how to paint to know how the painting makes you feel. That's why I found that the below quote is so true:

This impact applies to all aspects of our lives from fashion, through interior, food, accessories, travelling, art and anything else that comes to your mind.

Starting point is the colour theory, where you build on the primary colours to create secondary, tertiary colours and their variations. I do enjoy bright colours, but sometimes I want to be more subtle about it, so I mute them and have a softer version in pastel shades. If I would like to make a statement I would focus on the meaning of the colour to make the one I feel strongly about more outspoken. And other times I'm looking for the film colour palettes to recreate the mood of the given movie. The options are endless...
